Bordr organization dissolved

After three years in action, Bordr Economic Association discontinues as an organization. With our peak as a six week exhibition at Queens Museum in New York City, the Bordr storytelling tool, African Traders camera lending, and the “Europe Grand Central” EU project, our board now moves on with new related ventures. Most notably with “Global Grand Central”. We are still engaged with the Bordr-method of inclusive storytelling, and will continue Bordr in other forms. We thank all who have contributed to our work during this time! more

Europe Grand Central becomes Global Grand Central

To include partners from across the world platform Europe Grand Central changes name to Global Grand Central. This is part of an ambition to form a sustainable long-term structure of applied research. The platform – built by iterating reporting of more than 35 local inclusive projects across eight countries in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East – launches in late February. more

Europe Grand Central in BETA!

During the summer the open database of Europe Grand Central (www.europegrandcentral.net) opened as a Beta-test website. We are now working with a first round of test users (artistic researchers) across Europe and beyond aiming to build a lasting archive and research base on creative inclusion around the concept of crossing borders. more

Europe Grand Central at full speed – workshops in Vienna

Our European project is now running activities all across the continent. At a meeting in Vienna projects were coordinated, and our inclusion database (in the form of a metaphorical rail network) designed towards its opening during the summer of 2016. Also important mutual workshops were held to start spreading concepts of the project. more
